In 2008, Gen-Art celebrated its 25th anniversary...
The company, which was founded in 1983, became one of the leading companies in Italy in the automobile sector. 25 years of activity, a difficult and winding path, one which was often uphill, but the secret was to not look back but rather never lose sight of the summit... especially during the first years... the various crossroads encountered on the way signified important choices, the first was the decision to dedicate the company’s own resources to the Automobile Sector and today, we are able to define this decision as “strategic” in view of the success the company achieved in the space of a few years.
Indeed, the first important step was the conclusion of an indirect exchange agreement with an Car Manufacturer in 1991 to be followed by the rest of the car manufacturers up to 2008 when Gen-Art had become the official partner of 25 Car Manufacturers in Italy. The company ’s “historical archives” contain the first Gen-Art catalogue dating back 25 years ... a few sheets containing a few hundred articles, mainly automotive assortments and auxiliary consumables...today, the company’s catalogue boasts over 40,000 articles ranging from auxiliary consumables and chemical, electrical, mechanical items to products and accessories for resale as well as a vast range of tools and specialized equipment all of which are renewed every month in response to the requests and demands of customers and car manufacturers.
